She was named Junior College All-American and transferred to Arizona State University, where she put off playing soccer due to self-doubt. Her next stop was California State University Fullerton. After graduating with a Bachelors of Fine Arts diploma in business administration, and an additional human resource degree moving to Los Angeles. In the wake of these studies, she moved to Los Angeles in order to pursue modeling and acting work.
